My Training
I come from a country where nutrition is not a specialty, but a profession in its own right.
To become a nutritionist in Brazil, you must complete a five-year university program. After this training, I began working in private practice while continuing to specialize, first in public health, and then in functional clinical nutrition (a specialty from the United States - The Institute for Functional Medicine ).
Upon arriving in France, I had the opportunity to pursue scientific studies, including master's and doctoral degrees, which broadened my clinical perspective. I learned a lot and am very grateful to everyone who helped me along the way.
I then worked in clinical research as an investigative nutritionist in the field of intestinal microbiota at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. After three very rewarding years, I left the hospital to have more freedom and diversify my activities.
Currently, I work in private practice and via videoconference and am a teacher at the Microbiota and Health DU (Sorbonne University).
